Do you think RFK Jr. will regret being on the wrong side of history?
I was thinking this morning about how exciting Obama's huge win here in SC was and wondering if some would regret being on the wrong side of history. Now I am wondering about RFK,Jr.

1. what a ridiculous post. and really, think about, why should you
assume he's on "the wrong side of history"? First of all, Hillary may very well win, and secondly supporting her does not put him on the wrong side of history.

29. That's one opinion...
If you don't believe that history was made in SC yesterday then you are clueless as to what growing up in South Carolina was like in the 60s. And yes, if Obama wins the Presidency, RFK, Jr. will have been on the wrong side of history.

2. Isn't he interested in Clinton's Senate seat??
I was disappointed when it seemed he went for political expediency, but that's what it looked like.

of endorsements. They're not "Historic".

7. Obama will be history soon enough
And good riddance to a bad man.

RFK sees clearly that Obama is no RFK or JFK or MLK or anything else that harkens back to great men.

19. Just imagine, Cali, if every single post about Obama
was some nasty shitmouth on his character.

And here you are getting all angry over a single little post slighting the man.

I don't think you'd take it very well at all.

11. RFK Jr. is very busy in NY, and elsewhere
I think he is just keeping all his options open. In N.Y. he is on the political front due to his environmental activities and has had to work with all parties. So far he has express no interest in elected office here. As has said, "And I will see all of you on the barricades". I take that as his answer to fight the fight against the "far right".

22. I have always heard that he isn't interested in
entering politics. Now the one I am keeping my eye on is Joe P. I like that he is involved with providing heating oil for low income people and I think it is a fine endeavor. But I wonder if he isn't thinking how his uncle isn't going to be around that much longer and maybe is hoping to get his senate seat in MA?

12. I heard him on RING OF FIRE yesterday afternoon. I'd say he was on the
exact right side of history.

If you're referring to the endorsement, I wouldn't rank it any higher than it need be ranked.

His work on environmental issues has been splendid and visionary.

14. I think he'll regret never getting his dad's Senate seat
which was the only reason he endorsed Hillary in the first place, to get her out of it.

16. Why don't you at least wait until after Super Tuesday?
To my knowledge, the nomination is not decided based on the outcome in SC. And besides, if RFK Jr. truly believes in Hillary, why should he regret his endorsement? Do you really think Caroline and Teddy will regret theirs if Obama doesn't win the nomination? My guess is no.

21. I missed it, When did RFK Jr endorse Hillary? link or something ?
he's very anti lobbiest, very pro environmental, been working on environmental issues for years. He's not a good speaker, but he really has the issues down right.

26. RFKjr endorsed HIllary awhile back
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/11/29/robert-kennedy-jr-endorse_n_74617.html

How can one be on the wrong side of history if history isn't written yet? I believe he went with his conscience and his knowledge of Hillary Clinton, not to score political points.

28. I just went to a link that I had sent out last July from the Live Earth concert in NY.
RFK jr had given a revetting speech and it was really strange. When I just tried to access it I got a bunch of Miss American contestants and Barack's acceptance speech from last night.

Too bizarre.

Truly.
