1. Does this kind of count as a non-official endorsement by Cheney? nt

3. It's a signal to the corporations like Bechtel, etc.
That this is the go-to guy for their contributions if they want to continue swindling the US Treasury.

4. I think it does. I think it's sending the message to the base that this
is who they should be rallying around. Which talk radio is already doing, now that Fred is gone.

9. See her opinion piece is last Tues's WaPo -- :puke:
Yeah, she's another piece of ... 'work' from the Cheney tribe, bred from the loins of Lynne and Dick. :scared:

Obviously her recent publication was in preparation for this signalled move to marry into the Romney camp.

Retreat Isn't an Option
By Liz Cheney
Tuesday, January 23, 2007

"Beware the polls. In November the American people expressed serious concerns about Iraq (and about Republican corruption and scandals). They did not say that they want us to lose this war. They did not say that they want us to allow Iraq to become a base for al-Qaeda to conduct global terrorist operations. They did not say that they would rather we fight the terrorists here at home. Until you see a poll that asks those questions, don't use election results as an excuse to retreat."

Typical Repuke angle -- "victory" (??!?) and "retreat" -- how it always has to be couched. Win / lose. Black or white. Never anything about working with other nations or leaving Iraq to govern itself.

And certainly no recognition for how the bush administration bungled this war so badly that it is the horrific mess that it is now.

And how she distorts what the "polls" signify. Those same polls also say bush, and even more so, Cheney, does not have the confidence of the populace. She inherited the same blind eye, hubris, and evilness of her parentage.

8. Romney's hair looks like an alien life form
It looks like some kind of multi-legged creature imbedded in his scalp, with the ability to take on any form it wants. You could probably run Romney through a car wash and his hair would come out combed and well-parted on the other side, with an oily sheen of conditioner.
