enfranchisement. That is a powerful message to the delegates and to the voters of FL. It was a grand move on her part.

You can quibble about whether or not delegates will be seated, but she has NOT broken her pledge of not campaigning. Nor has she broken any rules in asking the DNC to re-consider their ruling of not seating delegates.

My understanding is that fundraising is allowed under the pledge agreement (I have not seen the actual pledge and do not think others have either). Obama was in Florida in November for a fund-raiser and Clinton arrived today for a fund-raiser.

PS—she is thanking her workers –NOT campaigning.

when it is in her best political interest to do so. Otherwise, she really doesn't give a shit.

6. blatant and transparent opportunism. The issue of enfranchisment
is between the DNC and the florida DP.
Florida's democratic party disenfranchised the voters, no one else.

This has been asked and answered in several threads already.

It would be nice if people would stop gilding this effort as altruistic when it is anything but.

9. Oh Brother!?! You just never stop amazing me with your interpretations of all things Clintonian.

HRC cares about DELEGATES - she's proven that with her smarmy attempt to usurp the authority of the DNC. In Michigan, those Democrats who wrote in "Edwards" and "Obama" did NOT have their votes counted! - but instead, placed in an "uncommitted file." That's NOT DEMOCRATIC voting.

14. It's a shame the message got lost in the mail months ago.
It would have been great to have had a Democratic primary in Florida. So where was she when they came up with this stupid idea? At this point, Hillary's just trolling for delegates and thinking of #1. P.S. #1 isn't you.

22. Whether You Thinks She Cares Or Not
At least she's coming here. Even though the votes in florida don't count and we know this, we fill good that a democrat candidate will be here. If Barack were to win on tuesday here in florida and he doesn't show up the headlines will not be pretty.

talk here on the DU about the big win yesterday by obama.....hard to discuss a win when it was won ugly and most had to paint the clintons as bigots and racist, but then again when race gets pitted against race WE ALL LOSE.....

I remember back several months I was posting the comment by Charles Barkley that said, "In this election we are going to see just who the sexist and the racist are"...Damn! did I ever believe it to be some in the democratic party....
