A compliment to the Obama campaign from an Edwards supporter
Now, this is a very small sample of the way the Obama and Clinton campaigns operate, but it's the only sample I personally have.

I live in Denver. I've received two calls from the Obama campaign and one from the Clinton campaign (Colorado Edwards people, where aaaare youuuu?) concerning the upcoming caucus. In each case, I immediately said that we're Edwards supporters. The first Obama caller remained friendly and said she hoped I'd attend the caucus anyway and gave me a local Democratic number to call for information. The second Obama caller also remained friendly and said she hoped I'd attend etc. and told me where and when my local caucus would be meeting. The Clinton caller, when I said we supported Edwards, turned cold, said goodbye, and hung up.

2. Ouch, is there a msg. there?
This is the tactic by supporters that make a difference. You don't diss the other candidate. Pump up your own is great and expected. An Edwards supporter here.

3. People don't realize how much the little things matter.

I am not an Obama supporter, per say, but I'm impressed by those who do support him. Granted, there have been some hardcore supporters posting here that have bordered on obnoxious, but their posts are nothing compared to the sour grapes I see from Hillary's supporters here. I do understand how it is when a candidate you really believe in isn't doing as well as you had hoped. I was a hardcore Deaniac and went through all of that and really don't have room to criticize. Nevertheless, I'm impressed by the integrity with which Barack Obama has carried out his campaign.

5. At the Obama campaign we understand the nature of a caucus..
there is this thing call "viability" ... lol. I guess Clinton doesn't get that.

7. I experienced this in Iowa as well...

...and it was really inspiring to see the Obama and Edwards volunteers.

They were all so kind, professional and inspired by their candidates.

I mentioned to Obama that I was leaning Edwards, and he had nothing but
glowing things to say about Edwards. He didn't hang up on me. In
fact he said he understood why I would like Edwards, and we talked
positively about issues and Obama's ideas.

He didn't see it as an open window to bash Edwards. That's class.

The Hillary people who called were rude and they hung up also.

The Edwards and Obama people never gave up, but they were nice.
If you told them you weren't a supporter, they were respectful,
but one of them would show up in your driveway the next day!

It really was fun.

I will also add that on caucus night, the Edwards and Obama people
were upbeat and passionate. The Hillary supporters were dour
and they seemed bitter.

The precinct captains all gave positive speeches about their candidates, except
for Hillary's. She stood up on a chair, in front of a room of 400 caucus goers--and accused the Edwards and Obama
supporters of selecting these candidates "because you think they're good looking".

8. I've been impressed by his entire campaign organization, and have ALWAYS
heard good things about how the volunteers are "reminded" to be considerate and polite and to not diss any other candidate.

It's a testament that with so many supporters, that approach has been adhered to so well.
