3. So the Kennedys are now irrelevant to you?
Do you think they are to the nation?

14. They are no more relevant right now then my neighbors are. It's not who
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 08:02 PM by acmavm
Ted thinks should get the nomination that motivates me. It's who I think should get it that I'm concerned with. You have never seen me post anything about who supports who on this board. That's because I don't care. I read, investigate, watch the debates, listen carefully. That's how *I* will decide who I want to vote for.

edit: And that's how EVERYONE should decide. For themselves.

23. Too bad more people don't think like that. Most get led by the nose by the media darlings.

19. No, but are we going to post who all the cousins support too. When is enough, enough?
I wonder who Arnold and Maria will support? OK, OK, I admit it's sour grapes. Now are you happy? By the way...I at least have a sense of humor. Where's yours?

20. I can't remember a day like this, where I woke up smiling....
... and couldn't stop, not all day long. Nothing can irritate me today. Today is a most excellent day.

Ted and Caroline aren't cousins or nobodys. They're significant, and they matter. Maria Shriver? Well, considering her taste in men... not so much. :-)

27. If I were you...I'd wake up smiling too.
If I were you and had my candidate praised by everyone 24/7 and the other candidate kicked around 24/7...then I'd wake up smiling too.

Maria Shriver? Who's she? Just JFK's sister! But she doesn't count.

30. Oh yeah! Having a senior moment! It's late! Been a long day here on DU.
I've sick with the flu and can't do any work so DU is my savior from boredom. I guess it's time to hit the hay before I say anything else I'll regret. Nite-Nite!.

34. Maria Shriver isn't JFK's sister.
I'm not saying she's nobody, I'm saying her taste in men sucks. :-)

But since you're being pithy, I may as well correct you on the facts... Maria is not JFK's sister.

Maria Shriver Schwarzenegger is JFK's niece. She's the daughter of his sister Eunice Kennedy Shriver and her husband, the truly great Sargent Shriver.

I have to say that when it comes to Caroline, you are treading on thin ice.

By the way I didn't say anything negative about Carolyn or as a matter of fact... I never even mentioned her name. What you been smoken? Me thinks you're the one skating on thin ice.

She did refer to him once as "our next president" - I don't remember a formal endorsement. Do you have a link? Thanks. I would like to know for sure about that.

22. "I think he feels it. He feels it just like Bobby did," Ethel Kennedy said,
she endorsed him months ago

"I think he feels it. He feels it just like Bobby did," Ethel Kennedy said, comparing her late husband's quest for social justice to Obama's. "He has the passion in his heart. He's not selling you. It's just him." Ethel Kennedy invited Obama to deliver the keynote address at a ceremony commemorating the 80th birthday of Robert F. Kennedy. She said she had carefully followed the career of the Illinois senator, whom she referred to as "our next president."

though I remain baffled by it.
gotta wonder how he and Papantonio talk about it, because I get the feeling Pap doesn't care for Bill and Hill much.
