I think we should all give Joe Lieberman a big round of applause
He's hitting the campaign trail with McCain, according to MSM, and if you think the political Left hates Joe, then you should see how the political Right feels about him. Jumpin Joe wil be the kiss of death for the one candidate who has the best shot at beating our nominee. For once, Leiberman is doing something right!

1. Romney still worries me more than McCain
I have no use for either of them, but I see Romney as more of a threat, IMHO.

3. My only concern with ShittyMitty is that he is so shallow
he would say and do anything if he thought it would bring him a win.

But, I'm not that worried about him. You can see right through him.

7. He was elected here in Mass, one of the bluest states
and did s**t for the state while he was here, except to travel around the country or vacation at his lakefront mansion in New Hampshire.

There are four females in my near-family that absoultely adore this guy, and I really fear that his movie-star looks and crisp image are a big part of this. I know it's all shallow and stupid, and I hope to hell I'm wrong, but you've got to admit personal appearance plays a big part in the minds of too many voters.

I think his chances of becoming president are being grossly underestimated on this forum.

10. Was he governor for more than one term?
Was he re-elected or did he serve once, and go to business?

11. He ran once, mainly to build his resume for a White House run
Now he can say he was once a governor, and boast about his "accomplishments" just like he did about the Olympics, although he's told more lies than truths on the campaign trail.

6. I agree, I'm more worried about Romney. The worse the economy gets, the better he looks as a "fixer

5. Good point.
I forgot that Holy Joe was Barak's mentor when he was a rookie. I hope it didn't rub off.

4. Wonder if...

McCain is considering Joe as VP? Now that would be a first. To anyone who has paid any attention at all, this would be a disaster. Unfortunately, too many people are totally clueless and may find it to be the perfect solution to a fractured government. The only good thing is that both John and Joe love this war and they don't seem to get that most people, including republicans, hate it and care more about feeding their families than "winning".

9. I don't think there will be a chance of that. Maybe a cabinet position, though?
