If you didn't see the Kennedy endorsement WATCH THIS VIDEO
http://time-blog.com/real_clear_politics/2008/01/teddys_endorsement.html

I didn't get to watch it on TV, but Ted Kennedy had me smiling and crying at the same. What a momentous event this must have been for those attending in person. I can't imagine the excitement in that room.

4. Absolutely incredible!
I was on pins-and-needles during Ted's speech. What an electric, genuinely excited scene that was!

5. I'm still shaken
All I got to see was the video, but even so, it was an utterly shattering speech.

6. So, Obama is looking toward the future but longing to restore America to what it was
in the 60's? Somehow this does not compute. I guess this is what happens when you speak in platitudes trying to cover all bases all the time.

8. no...building on the greatness of our past
as we move toward the future. looking back to that greatness, and knowing it, but not resting there either.

15. Okay, that just did it for me.
We all want change, and I think we've been paralyzed by a lack of inspirational leadership and a vision that transcends this hamster wheel we seem to be trapped in.

If not Obama, then who?

Teddy describes what needs to happen to make change - he doesn't just "feel it in his bones" he's been there - he knows. I know Obama wants the job, and this vote of confidence from a trusted opinion really gives Obama's words the weight that they need. I've wanted to believe for some time that Obama can do it, but was hesitant to commit. I think I can do that, now.

Out of respect for Walken, and to restore my reputation as a candidate slut, I'm not taking down my Walken banner until tomorrow.
