Why did Obama approach SCUMBAG slumlord Rezko IN 2005 for home financing "advice"?
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 04:39 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
After the scumbag's slum empire was already crumbling?

http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/Story?id=4203278&page=2

Much of the scrutiny surrounding Obama's relationship with Rezko has centered around a real estate deal involving Obama's home on the South Side of Chicago. Obama says he approached Rezko for "advice" as he sought to purchase the house in 2005. The owner of the house was trying to sell the a neighboring vacant lot as a part of the deal, Obama later told the Chicago Tribune he could not afford to buy the lot because "it was already a stretch to buy the house."

There's a world of possibilities here, even the most ridiculous of which are sought by the Hillarite like a vampire to a blood donation bag.

absolutely
Sort the forum by author and look for the names starting with P. There will be two pages of threads started by just two people. Find C and you'll likely find another page full. That's three posters with well over 100 threads. That's insane.

It IS possible to let a thought pass through one's mind without starting a thread.

16. This is business as usual in Chicago.
As an Illinois politician this would be a minor insignificant distraction.

However I'm not a big proponent of forcing our corrupt ways upon the rest of the nation.

The Mayor keeps crime down and keeps the city looking beautiful, and all of the politicians from both parties cover eachothers asses and let the chips fall where they will.

Not the best system obviously, not the worst either.

Well, if that's the case, I guess we should offer Cunningham his seat back. This is, afterall the the way things work in Washington, as well. Haven't we learned anything in the last 7 years? Will it be business as usual under the new regime?

Guilt by association. Since Rezko is slime, everyone he has ever done any kind of business with is also slime. Is that the idea you're trying to push here? Are you suggesting everyone should do a thorough background check on everyone they talk to?

36. No, from the article
Earlier this month, Obama gave to charity more than $40,000 in past political contributions from seven individuals with ties to Rezko. The decision to donate the money contributed to Obama's House and Senate campaigns — but not his current presidential bid — came after a published report that Obama is the unnamed "political candidate" in one paragraph of a 78-page prosecution document that outlines the case against Rezko.

Obama also has had to answer questions about how Rezko became involved in the purchase of the Obama family home as well as other ties to Rezko that go back more than 15 years.

Obama has been accused of no wrongdoing involving Rezko or anyone else.

Rezko also has been one of Gov. Rod Blagojevich's leading fundraisers.

You're a known quantity, yet you are like HRC's husband, you continue to your potential PERSONAL and GOAL-DRIVEN detriment.

How about some true soul searching and self-reflection because you are only hurting your candidate by this hyper-active thread starting based on little to no truisms?
