CNN: Florida Senator Bill Nelson endorses Clinton
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 07:01 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
I guess he didn't like Obama's "JFK" stand on slashing NASA space exploration funding.

This is BILL Nelson, not BEN Nelson, the "Democrat" that came out strong endorsing Alito and Robertson and endorsed Obama.

1. This endorsement couldn't be more meaningless
The guy is at odds with his own party.

say much about the yo yo's voting for Nelson.

This is the guy who beat the stuffing out of Cruella not long ago.

25. Folks Around Here Call Him A DINO
He's the type of center-mildly left Democrat that can get elected in Florida on a statewide basis...He's in the mold of Bob Graham, Rubin Askew, and Lawton Chiles...And he can move a bit left as he soidifies his position...

He's a bit right for my taste but he beats the stuffing out of a Mel Martinez, Cruella Harris, and Paula Hawkins...

30. Well, he's not pure enough for DU, where many seem to think that
America is Berkeley writ large, and he's not my favorite, not by a longshot, but as you say, Nelson can get elected here and he's vastly better than the likes of Allan Bense and Katherine Harris.

21. I'm sure
I'm 100% for HRC but I haven been trying to tell HRC to stick to facts and reason and to stay the hell away from Mud and Names. I'm here to support Hillary and debate Obama, not sneak in Hillary and destroy Obama. I'm just getting used to the profile names still, I'll have to check P2BA posts.

Cool to meet you Hnmnf

I'd think if P2BA's so offensive, you'd just ignore post and user...apparently, you're gluttons for punishment.

I really don't like the ignore option. I think it closes us off from each other. It's like why I hate yet watch FOX News. If I don't watch them I won't know what they are saying and what influence they are having on others.

45. man I hear you I've gotten really angry a couple of times
I just don't want to get two mad, sooner or later us HRC people and you Obama people are going to have to come back together. Believe me though, I've told HRC to calm down. I think we both know we can get heated with counter facts and opinion without trying to kill each other. But there have been some times that I almost went into hulk mode :( Well the good thing is Clinton or Obama, at-lest most of us care again. There where sometimes during the long Bush years where I was completely dead inside. It's cool to have the fire back. Now it's down to controlling that fire right, or better yet focusing that fire.

I promise you this. I'm here 100% for HRC and want to influence others to vote HRC, but I will never try to destroy Obama, and if he wins, he can count on my vote.

I think we come here and debate ideas we'll end up expressing to our neighbors. I do think you are right that DU is a punching bag, but more like a Training Gym for a Boxer and the real world is fight night. Maybe my problem isn't so much I assume than I expect, you know?

Maybe it happened, but somehow, even with my paying almost full time attention to the news, it passed me by. Guess it's lack of coverage was just an "accidental" oversight by the MSM. :eyes:

Anyway, it is very good news! :bounce:
