7. The ANA has worked hard to improve health care for patients and they
think hard before giving out this endorsement.

I come from a family with many (7) in the health-care industry. This issue is dinner table talk daily and this endorsement from the ANA is big.

11. "the nation’s 2.9 million registered nurses":

ANA represents the interests of the nation’s 2.9 million registered nurses

"Too many Americans must do without high quality health care, and this country deserves a president that will make health system reform a priority,” said ANA President Rebecca M. Patton, MSN, RN, CNOR. “Senator Clinton has shown a commitment to implementing real change in our health care system to ensure high quality, affordable and accessible care. She has also recognized the importance of educating, recruiting and retaining, RNs, and the need to improve the nurse’s work environment which includes addressing safe and appropriate staffing. America’s 2.9 million registered nurses represent the largest group of health care professionals. We have long advocated for the critically needed reforms vital to the improvement of health care and will use our power in the voting booth to make health care a priority.”

17. What nurses DO you work with???
I have alot of nurses in my family and know many more through them, and then huge majority of nurses, doctors, med techs, etc. they know are 100% for UHC. Including my very Republican RN sister.

15. Morning kick...from an Edwards supporting nurse who's been a bargaining unit member for going on 17
years.

Although I believe that Edwards would also be a strong ally, there is no doubt that Sen. Clinton understands the issue inside and out.

I think I'll be rereading her book, and focus on her recounting of her experiences in trying to introduce Health Care legislation.

18. Edwards is a very strong #2 for me
I lived in NC for 17 years, and my parents still do, so he's a sentimental favorite for me as well. I really wish the race was totally between him and HRC.

16. Very, very nice endorsement
My mom's a nurse, and she's voting for Senator Clinton in both the NC primary and (hopefully) the GE.
