Primary Day In FLORIDA!!! Are you not waiting for results with feverish anticipation?
*yawn*

First election day since I could vote in 1986 that I haven't been at the polls when they opened. I'll make it over there before polls close though. :eyes:

4. Okay, I'll fess up to being a little bit curious about what happens to the Republicans.
The Guiliani campaign has been hounding my household. My husband maintains a Republican registration so we can get their mailings and phone calls to see what they are up to. I have had an average of three pre-recorded phone calls a day for the past week from Rudy's folks. I noticed a smattering of Huckabee, McCain and Romney signs go up in the last few days. Other than that, Paul's the only one with any campaign presence here for any length of time. Kind of curious if that makes a difference in county results.

I'll throw my bet into the pool and say Rudy gets only 6-8%.

2. I voted two Saturdays ago
Polls have been open for weeks, which would be wonderful if our votes actually counted for anything.
Flori-DUH again.

8. I'll be voting No / Edwards when the time comes.
Just waiting for my husband or sister to come stay with the kids long enough for me to run over to the polling place. My prediction is that yes on amendment one wins by between 55-60%. What do you think?

...yes, no, no, and yes. Then I got a sticker.

Beautiful day here in South Florida though.

They're predicting heavy turnout.

9. I was there bright and early.
Yes, I am waiting for the results too. It's still an upgrade over our 2004 situation where we had the choice of Kerry or Kerry.

Granted, I have a sick and twisted sense of humor.

15. I'm sorry you're sick. Ravaged my household last week.
My husband was so kind as to bring back the Norwalk virus from his last business trip to London. I feel for you. Hope you are well soon.

17. I just voted
I didn't have any problems. But, there was an 88 year old man in front of me and they were making him fill out a provisional ballot because his address wasn't quite right or something. And another lady was there when I walked in, waiting for them to change her address in the computer. She was still waiting when I walked out.

Poll workers not trained very well, IMO.

I voted Edwards and no.
