Deleted as it is twisted by Hillary supporters.

For the record, I love Maxime Waters, and I am sure many of you have said a lot worse in the past on her. But carry on.

After the insults at Ted Kennedy and Kerry from your camp, you cannot stand a little bit of truth. So sorry to hurt your sensibility.

Once again, EDITED because I am tired to see my words distorted by Clinton supporters.

24. When all the Dems were cowering during the impeachment farce, maxine
was out there calling it like it was. I was never a big fan until then--she was very courageous to do this, and earned a lot of respect from me...when she does or says something now I don't agree with, I don't care...she proved herself during this time.

47. She was also front and center on FL recounts in 2000.
She was disappointed that the House could not get one Senator to back them, not even HC. I think HC was acquiescing to Gore's wishes then but I can't prove it. At any rate, glad to see that Maxine didn't hold that against Hillary.

67. I called Maxine's office that day
She was my rep at the time. I told her she was speaking my mind by speaking hers, actual representation. She was very bold.
And not one Senator came forward. But Hillary Clinton was not yet in the Seante, as she was elected in Nov 2000. So it would be hard proving your Gore theory, to say the least. That would have been a good day to have Obama in the Senate, as well.
I back John Edwards and will continue to do so, but there is no one in Washington I like better than Maxine.

"major" but it's a nice one. When local Dems were leaving Ned Lamont out on the window ledge and Barbara Boxer came to campaign for Lieberman, Maxine Waters came to CT to stump for Lamont. I will never forget that.
