8. We should be focusing on these bozos

and how best to convince our Republican neighbors to vote for Ron Paul (who doesn't have a chance of winning the nomination)in the upcoming primaries. Around here, that would be easy. There are even billboards up supporting him--showing him delivering a baby swaddled in red, white, and blue!

9. people forget that we thought we had things wrapped up in 2004

and look at how that turned out. If we don't refocus our energy where it belongs, I am afraid one of these clowns will be the next president, and we will be truly fucked

I was worried by the smugness exhibited by many once Kerry had the nod. I talked with local Democrats here in AR, and knew we were in trouble when those local Democratic Committee folks said that they wouldn't vote for Kerry and wouldn't lift a finger to support him! I worked with a bipartisan independent group to put ads in the paper, LTTE, and to offer rides to the polls.

15. I'm an Edwards supporter, and reluctant myself to jump behind another candidate just yet

but all I need to do is say the words "President Romney" "President McCain" or "President Guiliani" and I am cured of any notion of sitting this thing out, no matter who wins our nomination.

I am starting to come around.
