Talk about pot calling kettle black. HE actually went from being a real Democrat to pushing McCain and will probably accept the VP offer. He made a few other stupid hypocritical comments, but now I can't remember. So if you get a chance to see the repeat interview with Lieberman and Tucker... be sure to take a look and listen and bring your barf bag with you. Know I know why I never liked him and was so disappointed when Al picked him as VP. I bet if Al had taken Biden for his running mate...we would have been in the white house all these years. And bush* wouldn't have done all this damge to our country. The man is sickening. :puke:

5. Don't rule it out. If Clinton does NOT get the nom, count on it.
Holy Joe could deliver NY and FL, under the right circumstances...and those are 'biggies.' Clinton owns those, otherwise.

2. I don't like Holy Joe
but if he puts doubts in some Republicans over Mittens, that's all to the good.

4. It was the naked shilling for Lieberman...
...by a hyperactive bunch of myopic, ultra-DLCers here that really broke this place into little pieces.

Folks ran the whole “He's a good Dem” thing and gleefully sandbagged the eventual Dem nominee Ned Lamont, even after he vanquished Lieberman in the primaries.

Now, what only the willfully blind couldn't see has manifested itself. A GOP pig all along.

And this clown openly backs a wingnut? God, we so need a few more seats so we can kick this bastard out of his cushy committeeship offices and down into a basement boiler-room space like that dweeb in “Office Space”.

9. Well, I hate to tell ya, it wasn't the people "here" who sandbagged Ned Lamont.
or even broke DU into pieces.

Ned's lousy and one-issue campaign is what sandbagged Ned Lamont. It's what made people unwilling to go with him.

He had insufficient organization, he was untried, untested and he had no crossover appeal. He didn't get his message out. He wasted his money on amusing ads that didn't hit the issues hard enough. He was TOO lighthearted when serious issues were at play.

Blaming "folks" is totally lame. You are trying to absolve the candidate, and he just didn't bring it.

Ned Lamont blew that election for Ned Lamont. The "Republican" in that race got almost no votes. Lieberman shifted over and snatched up all that guy's votes, AND all the votes of the Democrats who just didn't think Lamont gave enough of a shit.

Anyone who is shocked at Lieberman's national defense stance wasn't paying attention to him all along. He is still a social liberal in some ways, but he's ALWAYS been concerned about our Special Relationship with the State of Israel, and his views on that subject haven't changed one whit.

I think he wants VP on a McCain ticket if Clinton isn't the Dem nominee, and SECDEF if she is the nominee and McCain beats her.

8. I cringe everytime one of those media shills calls him a "Democrat"..
you're absolutely correct though, it is the epitome of hypocrisy for him to be calling somebody a flip-flopper. Fucking wolf in sheep's clothing.
