1. How many points must the winner of the super bowl
win by to claim a victory? If they win by less then three will it be a hollow victory?

6. Surely, you are familiar with the age-old "expectations game" during the primaries.
:hi:

The "hollowness" refers to the fact that FL offers no meaningful delegates...at the moment. That is true regardless of how much she wins by.

9. Yes I am
And I offer my total and uncompromising support to whomever the Dem party nominates. I'm just so saddened by the Obama-Hillary rift here. And as a nod to the voters of Florida, I do not (and no one should) consider them meaningless.

2. I'd say she's got to at least do double digits.
A single-digit victory in a place where she's constantly been out-polling Obama by huge numbers will be successfully spun as a moral victory by Obama.

3. 0.0001 % will be enough for her to spin. She called SC a close race.

8. Good point. I should have inserted the word "rightfully" before "claim."
Spinning will happen regardless.

4. uncontested campaigns simply won't count
she won't get any delegates and any media attention. Worse when they try to pimp it, it will seem like they are gaming the system

13. It'll get media attention
You think they'll only report Repub results and not include the Dems? They didn't in Michigan, so I don't expect they're gonna ignore us in Florida.

Besides, there will be a large number of voters outside of FL who will hear who won, but who will not know that there was no campaigning (except for Obama's ad buy) and no delegates awarded. These are precisely the people who are most likely to be affected in deciding who to vote for by who won earlier primaries. So in that sense, FL will count very much.

5. She'll claim victory even if she wins by 1%.
However, the media will be focused on the GOP's primary, so she'll need to really do well to get any headlines out of it.

7. Wow. You're even preemptive sore losers.
At one time I thought you didn't reflect your candidate's personality, but I think now you're a perfect fit for each other.

12. the insane media spins any win, even a squeaker, to be a huge deal.
of course it should depend if the state is winner take all or if the delegates are proportional and how superdelegates have committed in the state but the 'big show' news media outlets dont do finesse.

16. But most important are the demographics of the win.
If she gets 25% of the dem minority vote and wins 80% of the woman's vote, then she'll have put together an incredibly diverse coalition, presumably.

At least that's what I'm apparently supposed to think.

A victory is a victory. Now, a victory may not be predictive of future victories, and that's what was up for discussion in SC.
