If Clinton Wanted to Mend Fences, She Has a GOLDEN Opportunity
Based on review of ALL the evidence and Obama's statement about the "handshake", it is clear that he was not "snubbing" Clinton. Clinton could make this all a non-issue by coming out and saying she didn't think Obama snubbed her at all, she was going to shake Kennedy's hand. Now that would be an outstanding move. Will she do it?

1. Considering how Obama waited to weigh in on the race question after she was getting pummeled.
I would wager that Hillary won't do much defending of Obama at least right now.

7. Then she could show she is BETTER than Obama by doing so... instead of being spiteful and not.

2. Clinton...
hasn't gotten any press at all today....perhaps for her "snub" of the media last night. I have no doubt that once she gets some airtime she'll set things straight.

3. Let's see if I get this right.
You have decided against the evidence that Obama didn't screw up.

Your solution to Obama's childish behavior is for Mama to fix it for him. Great. Sounds like a winner.

12. The only one being childish is the OP who started this post about the "non-incident."
Why didn't you just simply put in the subject line -

Attention, Attention, I like Attention.

That would be way more honest and illustrative of your true motives.

4. Not yet
Obama waited until after SC to quash the notion that the Clintons were bigots, and Hillary Clinton will probably wait a few days before saying anything. She's not going to hand Obama anything. She'll let the bad impression sink in, and then she'll take the high ground. That's how the game is played.

5. Clinton hasn't said she was snubbed!
This is various news outlets that are saying that. Are you going to blame her for that too?

8. Not blaming her... but she could show great character by setting the record straight.

6. Obama is not fooling anyone with his comments. Why should Hillary mend fences?!?
She should continue to dominate Obama in debate and future policy discussion! Lucky for Obama that the media and his camp made Bill Clinton a villian which hurt Hillary in S.C.. Those trick will not work in the bigger states. Nice spin though.

13. I hope this tactic of acting insulted and demanding apologies works for you...
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 07:41 PM by incapsulated
In a GE against the rethugs if Obama gets the nom.

OMG, I demand an apology for being mean about me being mean and stuff!

*sniffle*

15. Who is demanding an apology? I get the feeling that Clinton supporters have gone off the deep end.

14. Obama's explanation and Axelrod's explanation contradict each other
They had better get their story straight before they expect Hillary to bail them out.

16. No, it's NOT clear...
...it's just your interpretation of the event. Reporters there seem to think it was a snub.
