1. Very simple... Hillary will win something and they just can't stomach that
There's already been snarky posts (again).

Obama supporters do their candidate no good with their behavior.

2. For the "winner" photo ops, speeches, smiles, etc. Most folks don't know
about the delegates or lack of them - just another win in her column.

5. maybe this is why, article from August:
snip..
Karen Thurman, chairwoman of the Florida Democratic Party, said in a late afternoon conference call with reporters today that she intends to go ahead with the state’s primary on Jan. 29. Even if the Democratic National Committee follows through with its threat to take away Florida delegates, she says she believes the nominee of the party will intercede and allow the delegates to be counted at the party’s nominating convention in Denver.

Her dirty tactics are being discussed openly in the media.

7. I don't think it is fear
It is a an attempt to blunt an attempt to make it more than what it is.

The interesting thing (to me anyway) is that I think Clinton would have won big in Florida even if it had been open to campaigning due to her appeal to an older demographic. It is a natural state (in the Democratic Primary, not the General) for her.

22. Then why is Obama down 19? He has the same name recognition as the other celebrity
And Obama ran ads in Florida, unlike Hillary and Edwards

how meaningful is Hillary's win to campaign against someone who followed the rules. That's some "big" victory for her ... :sarcasm:

Not an Obama supporter (he's my weak 2nd choice), but I'm laughing at the absurdity of claiming victory in a non-contested straw poll.

26. Oh I'm not stressing AT ALL
over the democratic primary tonight. This is the FIRST TIME I have not been stressed over it. That is because I know that Obama did not have a chance to let the Florida voters see what he was about. They were banned from the state. Now I AM STRESSED about the Republican primary tonight. I really, really, really, really, really do not want McCain to win. McCain will be big trouble for the DEMS in the general election regardless of who the Dem candidate is going to be.

29. The reason they trash and bash her so much is just that
they know the country perfers her except for the small bunch of party goers and they can't stand it. The people of this country want someone who can handle the job and the other candidate can only simper and wimper. He say he is going to save the world...yeah...he pushes the wrong button 1/3 of the time, says he made a mistake. Darn suppose he did steal the white house and the alarm clock went off and he made a mistake and hit the nuclear button in mistake. Heck if he can't find a button to vote, why should be trust him with the nuclear button.
