Claiming Victory when there is none!
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 09:05 PM by FrenchieCat
Remember in 2000, when the vote count was being contested, and Bush was sitting in a room with his "cabinet" insisted that they had won? And then saying that all of the votes had been counted?

Hillary using similar ploy--Perception is everything, fuck reality and the rules.

This kind of Rovian Gamesmenship makes her look bad. Makes her look like this is the only way that she can win. If the media decide to uncover this little charade so that the less informed understand it, she is going to be sorry. Things have a way of backfiring on folks. Just wait.

This is a delegate race...and Hillary won zero Delegates. She's won on a technicality of having great name recognition since she's campaign in the state many times to get to the White House with Bill, and for various candidates since.

She better buy some flags to fly behind her when she "insists" that Florida delegates be seated.

Hillary's campaign is perpetuating a fraud, and nothing more.

6. so you obviously support the disenfranchisement of Florida voters
Two power-grabbing groups decide that to take away votes from individuals is preferable to coming up with a compromise to allow our votes would count. And you seem to have no problem with that.

Do you think that is in the best tradition of the Democratic party?
