The latest excuse for Hillary's stunning victory is name recongition. The last Gallup poll had Obama at a 59% favorable rating, 32% unfavorable. 6% were unsure and only 3% had never heard of him. The last such figure for John McCain is from August. Both McCain and Obama were unknown by 9% of voters. Yes, Obama had the same name recognition as John McCain then and surely has a higher one now. 4% had not heard of Edwards in the last Gallup. For Hillary 0% said they did not know her.
