Fake Rallies,Phoney Elections,Planted Questions,Voter Suppression... Who needs GWB? We've got HRC!
It is now clear the Clintons are willing to employ any tactic to get elected.

They are not worried about persuading people to choose them based on good ideas and strong policies.
They are only interested in manipulating voters into choosing them, regardless of the issues.

Tonight they built a Potemkin Village down in Florida to cheer her 'Victory'.
A 'Victory' that awards her no delegates.

The only purpose of this is to present the image to the People that this was a real win somehow.
The Clintons are betting on the ignorance of the voting public.
They hope that people will not know the Truth.

This is the single greatest problem with the Clinton Campaign.
They do not care if People base their decisions on true information.

They want votes any way they can get them. Lying, Cheating, Stealing, Dividing, etc.
This brand of politics is completely contrary to the Principles of the Democratic Party.

So the question is,
If Hillary is willing to do all this to get elected,
How is she any better than George Bush?

Disagree if you want to. It's certainly what keeps this board going, even in times like this. But to call the poster an "idiot" is completely uncalled for, and is the kind of personal attack that doesn't do anyone any good.

14. Exactly, but she can't fire Dean.
As the head of the party she could make things even more difficult than they already have ( witness this little charade today) by exerting muscle over the voting members to oust him, but with the current membership makeup it wouldn't work and
they ( DLC) would start an alternate party apparatus to compete w/ the people elected DNC.

It's kind of sad to see so many supposedly smart and progressive people so ill informed about how the mechanisms work and what their favorites are really doing. They don't give one hot damn about the Democratic party or the people that make it up.

21. can you not participate in an honest debate?
They are not talking points.
They are actions which we usually associate with the Right-Wing, but we are now seeing from the Clintons.

If you are unable to defend your candidate, then just say so.

But simply calling something 'right-wing' does not invalidate it.

10. HRC was pathetic tonight - no need to fan flames
There you go again...

And sorry Billary - you are no Jack Kennedy.

I WOULD LOVE a woman president - but i don't want a manwoman sandwich called "Billary"

Obama folks - no need to fan the flames here - this one was almost funny. Let it pass. Billary trying (rather desperately) to trumpet tonight in Florida? Not even worthy of a response actually.

Billary - we remember your vote suppor Bush on Iraq. You wanted to "look more hawkish and tough" - for the "general election" knowing of course that Bill would win the primaries for you - because he can weep on queue and play the race-baiting card with Whites while pandering to Blacks. Billary we know you went to New York just to carpet bag - so you could talk about your wonderful experience in the Senate - boy did you jump to get on that armed services committee - gosh you do "look hawkish" - nobody can call you a weak woman in a general election. How clever you are Billary!! Oh yeah, and I forgot you were first lady too right? Wow! Gosh how stellar Billary.

Billary - we remeber your lack of conviction. We remember. We remember how you supported Bush's Bankruptcy Law -- "Leave No Credit Card Company Behind."

We Remember Billary.

What is it like lunching for $1,000 a plate with the Drug Companies? Introducing them to your friends in the Senate who make the rules?

We Remember Billary.

What is it like being supported by more lobbyists than any other candidate Democrat or Republican?

Billary - we remember - and we won't make it easy for you to lie your way into office.

Viva Obama On to Feb 5th!!

Enjoy your Florida night Billary... it may be your last celebration.

20. Hillary did not have a rally like that in MI.
Why?

Because tonight was set up for a special purpose...to confuse to American Public.
To give the impression that Hillary actually won something.

If you cannot see what the true purpose of this charade was, then I feel sorry for you.

17. The Hillary Supporters Drank The KoolAid - They Really Should Be Embarrassed For......
supporting her and her campaign tactics. We as people should be offended that the Hillary campaign thinks we're so ignorant that we don't know what they are pulling.

I thought that she was better than this. And to think I visited her Senate office before she announced running for president - cause I was willing to work to get her elected. I'm glad that other commitments kept me from that task - cause if I was working for her campaign I couldn't condone her tactics.

I'm tired of these tactics as we've lived through them over the last eight years with *Co. How quick some people forget though. I just can't face another four years of the same.

Even if everything else stated in the OP is true.

My congress-critter, Jim Marshall D-GA, votes with the Democratic Party only about 60% of the time, but even that is better than a Repuke who votes for the interests of the Democratic Party 0% of the time. I have similar feelings about HRC (much like I did when William Jefferson was President). She's still better than Bush.

37. Ah, but every single accusation has proven false. It's quite obvious if you pay attention.
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 08:12 AM by Perry Logan
I'm just reporting my experience here at DU. I'll gladly testify to it in court, when Hillary sues your pink little asses.

There are new accusations against the Clinton people every day, mostly inspired by the biased media or right-wing propagandists. The accusations get thoroughly debunked--usually within a few replies.

But the anti-Clinton troops simply ignore these responses and go on repeating their accusations. It reminds me of the 9/11 conspiracy guys, who go on repeating long-refuted memes about 9/11.

Ironically, the accusers don't always agree with one another about the accusations. They don't always get their anti-Clinton story straight. This leads to the amusing spectacle of Clinton-haters accusing other Clinton-haters of using making false accusations.

This would be funnier if it weren't damaging the party so much. But Clinton-haters are compulsive. Apparently, the Clintons stole their wallet or something.
