he tried to reach a compromise, was rebuffed, and ultimately had to enforce party rules that he didn't write. His 50-State Strategy helped get Dem majorities in both houses in '06. DLCers hate Dean b/c he isn't one of them. They are trying to recapture the national Party chairmanship so they can enrich themselves while the Party goes back to minority status under the thumb of big business. I'm a Floridian, and I don't blame Dean a bit in this farce.
