Joe Trippi can kiss my ass
I am sorry, but I am pissed. I have gone without in order to send money to this campaign and just again YESTERDAY donated because they were trying to break a fundraising record.

Fuck them all.

Its just a damn game.

1. Wait until you hear his speech before you slam him
I understand you're in pain, but at least hear him out.

2. I'm sorry that happened to you
But you are right to be angry at Joe Trippi, he has been using his influence with the progressive blogs and not telling them what is really going on. All of the Deaniacs bought into his spin. I hope that they realize this and work hard to keep the Edwards message alive.

13. I don't know if Trippi is a "tool", but...
> He is a fucking tool from the get.

I don't know if Trippi is a "tool", but he does seem
to have a record now (from two major campaigns) of
getting a whole bunch of people really, really fired
up, only to end up dashing their hopes on the rocks
at the bottom of some mighty high cliffs.

Maybe he's a mole from a left-wing start-up third
party? 'Cause he sure generates huge swaths of
disaffected Democrats!

5. Well, I personally think John Edwards believes in what he is
saying. John said we need never to forget the least among us, and John led by example. We as Democrats must never turn our backs on the "have not's"*** To me that is one of the basic ideals of being a democrat. John brought forth this and made america see there is two america's....There is no shame in having "riches". it is how you use those "riches" which shows others whether you are true to thine own self, and John Edwards meets that each day. To me personally, there were only two people that met the criteria in this campaign. One only had words, but John Edwards and HRC brought both to this campaign and that is "words and deeds".

***Personally, I hate those words, "have not's" because each individual has something to offer, but those words are used in speeches and I use here for understanding.

6. I know you're hurting...
let's see what John has to say...

I, for my part - do not like Mr. Trippi or trust him.

7. This isn't about the Senator -- it is about that sleezebucket he let manage his campaign
And the $150 I spent on shirts that I never received had damn well better be returned as well as m,y donation yesterday. They can keep the earlier donations for the "big super Tuesday 2/3-of-what-the-other-candidates-are-spending Ad buy".

This isn't John's money -- and it isn't allowed to be used for any thing (charities) -- it is campaign funds. Campaign is done.

15. I agree
I got the letter in the mail yesterday saying my items I ordered were on backorder... I was like, oh that's nice. Let's not have them for when we need them - before Super Tuesday sometime...

I don't know how donations are handled, if they're returned at all if given in a certain period when they won't be used. I think they keep them and use them for other political donations, but I am not at ALL sure.

18. If Edwards truly cares about ending poverty
his campaign will return the money for all non-delivered items.

9. Agreed on Trippi. Not an asset. Some good people worked for him, but Trippi
was not one of them.

16. So, you would have preferred a campaign manager who did not try to raise funds for the campaign?

17. WHY WHY WHY
...do Dems keep putting their trust in men like Trippi and Shrum? I mean, can you think of ANY other arena of human activity where losers like this would get repeat business? And aren't the stakes high enough for us to actually WANT winners?!

Sheesh.
