I'm just as devastated as the rest of the Edwards supporters that he's leaving the race, but it upsets me that so many are saying they'll stay home for the General Election rather than vote for Clinton or Obama. I totally understand the hurt and anger right now...but this election is about far more than any one candidate. While we may disagree about which of the two remaining Democratic candidates are better...the fact is that either of them is a million times better than any repuke.
We must save our Supreme Court! If nothing else...cast your vote for the Democratic nominee because you know in your heart of hearts that neither Clinton nor Obama would put up a candidate for the court that would tip the scales of justice irrevocably to the dark side.
So...be hurt, be angry, be disappointed...but don't give up on our country!

3. I supported Kucinich, then Edwards - NOW?
I would vote for either Clinton or Obama in the GE.
I can't see how anyone would want 4 more years of a repub in the white house. It can only lead to no good.

5. It's going to take time
I appreciate what you're saying, but realize it's going to take time for people to deal with this. Edwards hasn't even dropped out yet.

It took me a couple months after Dean dropped out to change my mind and get back into politics. I didn't listen to pleas for sanity like this. I was just too upset to even consider it. But I eventually calmed down and did come back.

11. Yes..the "historic" election.
I understand the media's need to focus on the possibility of the first black or female president...but, sheesh...the total media black out on John was a bit much.

Trying to decide if I'll drop out of the Democratic Party the day after Super Tuesday when I still vote for Edwards, or write in Al Gore.

I've plain HAD IT with corporate Democrats!
