I am betting on an Edwards endorsement of Hillary
I hope I am wrong.

I think its the only thing that makes sense at this point. Remember after the last debate the two of them had a little meeting? I think the writing was on the wall yesterday in florida. The people who voted in the last week broke Obamas way. I think it was a wake up call for Hillary. Something has to be done to stop the momentum the Kennedy endorsement has given Obama. I think Edwards is going to do his part today to try to stop it the best he can. I think he has been offered VP already.

Purely speculation on my part but its the only reason I can see for him to drop out now.

6. I doubt it would be the final nail
for wither Obama or clinton if he endorsed either one. There aren't enough delegates on super tues to seal the deal for anyone. But it would help to secure a lot of those delegates for one whomever he endorses.

stop actually paying attention to what people stand for, how they have voted, etc. all you need to know is that Obama is the progressive candidate (you can tell cause he's black and gives good speeches) and Clinton is the insider bush-lite (you can tell because her name is Clinton) Obviously Edwards supports Obama, not Clinton, cause he's the candidate of change.

ignore the fact that Edwards and Clinton have an almost completly similar voting record in the Senate, and that their position papers could basically have been drafted by the same person, you aren't supposed to notice that.

yesterday, the progressive->moderate line went: Edwards-->Hillary-->Obama, if you trust their records and what they write and actually say, not how they say it. stop saying any differently. Hillary is EVIL. We hate her. that's the tautology, and you are obviously a conservative troll if you don't agree.

are saying how close Edwards is with Obama and how much he likes him. I think he is MUCH closer with the Clintons, especially his buddy Bill. I've always thought Edwards was working with Clinton from the get go.

I think Clinton has been behind the whole "let's remake Edwards as a populist" strategy.

65. I don't and think the suggestion despicable
It has to have been intensely difficult for the Edwards to being running a campaign when their life is as it is. They have 2 small children and she is not healthy. It makes sense to fight for a cause you believe in (and in EE's case, the man you believe in). It makes no sense to sacrifice this value time when the family knows how precious it really is on a fraud. Are you going to even state that his first "job" was to harm the Kerry campaign from within?

This is on a par with the idiotic claims that Kerry was working to insure Bush stayed President. The reality is that anyone running for President is doing it because they think they will be a good President - and want the power to put their ideas into practice. It seems a grueling, difficult experience for everyone running.

68. NO they aren't
Obama has taken NO corporate PAC money - none! What people point you to are the opensecrets etc websites that show the donations summed over EMPLOYER. When you contribute - you fill in the line with your employer. That is where it comes from. So, everyone from a guy who lays cable to a service rep to a middle manager to Ivan Seidenberg, the CEO will be added into Verizon. PS Edwards got them too - His numbers were lower as he raised less money.

64. I actually doubt it because it would make him look insincere
He attacked HRC ferociously. He said she had no conscience and was corrupt. Though he attacked Obama as well, it was not as virulently. I suspect he will simply wait to endorse the nominee.

He has made it clear that he wants to continue as an advocate for his issues. He has more leverage before he endorses than afterwards. He also will anger some people who love him when he does - either way. (Look at the response to Kerry, Kennedy, Clark etc) If he had a clear cut reason that one was clearly better than the other, he likely would already have made that recommendation.

66. I hope he tags along to whoever is going to win (most likely Hillary) so that he can become our AG
I'm wondering if he'll make an endorsement in the next two days.
