Hope is not a plan! Re: John Edwards

A good friend of mine often says this (Hope is not a plan) and as I see my favorite candidate leave the fray I am reminded of its less obvious meaning. While reliance of things “just” turning out for the best may be a fool hearty approach, denying reality and not planning for it is also folly. John Edwards will not win this nomination because the old “White man must lead us “dynamic may finally be dying in this country. Has anyone noticed the Strong proven female and articulate well educated Black guy running in this race? Clearly people have and that is where the future of the fight is going. I beg you brothers and sisters to refrain from the “corporate” pandering and class buzz words to talk about the remaining field. Both Hilary and Obama will make fine presidents moreover the both will beat McCain or Romney, the cult of personality flows strong with them and unfortunately by November this county will be in a Recession that most will blame (rightfully so) on the war & republicans dashing most if not all hope to win the white house for the right. What a wonderful time to be alive don’t you think? The realty of the first woman or black man in the oval office is just a few months away. Many of you are kicking rocks because you don’t think they are left enough, where is your plan? Do you really think That DK or JE would want you not to vote Dem because “oh darn I an’t in it. Do you really no longer want to join in history because your guy didn’t get the nod? Shame on you, change has to happen slowly we are crashing right me must get the country center fist before you can get it left. Chins up people we have a office to win and a country to save. So please no more of this bickering let the best man or woman win and let’s get them in office.
