NO MSM in my house, after Edwards announcement
I will not have it on in my House, it's a fucking joke, I will watch BBC for real news John Stewart, Colbert.
I will frequent DU, and sift through all the garbage, because there are some responsible posters.
If you people think the MSM is nothing more than entertainment, then turn them off, it is really easy.

1. You are correct.
I quit watching TV news in 2003 when they were running "Let's Make A War!"

2. Did the same thing
It started when I banned ABC from the house forever. Now, the rest of them are gone, too.

4. I haven't used the msm for accurate information in years...
But it's interesting in a socio-cultural way if you keep in mind that it's not the place to get hard news.

6. I only watched Olbermann on the joke "news" stations.
Or if some major thing was going on... I might check it for live coverage. One thing's for sure... I know where their interests lie, and they're not fooling me at all.

"Who's afraid of John Edwards?"

8. I don't pay a lot of attention to MSM
Last night we 'watched' the returns on MSNBC. We didn't listen because the TV was muted. It was great and the only problem was remembering to un mute the TV when we would switch to watch PBS.

9. I would not watch Jon Stewart for real news- he is an Obama shill
I like him and all, but I watch knowing he has a bias.

11. Blow up the TV, throw away the papers, move to the country
I can't believe they think I'm going to spend $1000 to convert to digital next year.

12. I'm with you. Enough is enough. Time to turn my attention and energy to causes where
I can actually make a difference. No need to stay and watch the coronation of HRC and the eventual election of another republican. We all know how this elaborate play will end.
