You may very well be right. I'm curious and I wouldn't bet money either way.

10. Even if there's not a single crossover vote, a gender split is not a DU bias.

2. I'm a white guy, so either I'm sexist for voting for Obama or racist for voting for Hillary
until there is a 3/4 white, 1/4 Creek male in the race, I will be called names

3. Possibly. The renewed calls for Gore to run might be evidence of that
Let's get real: I like Gore. I voted for Gore. But Americans did not take to him before and they won't take to him now. He's too easily swiftboated on superficial things.

4. I'm a white woman who has already cast a vote for Obama.
If you can't look beyond race and gender, you're probably a Republican.

8. yes, though its not who people are voting for that really determine gender bias
its how people critize hillary that shows gender bias.

i often see hrc criticized not in terms of policy but in misogynistic terms

yesterday i did see a vile and racist comment about obama though.

11. Very good point. It's sick to say people are voting for a particular candidate to
solely promote those of their race or gender. The racism comes out in statements about the candidates (Hillary isn't pretty enough/Obama is a Muslim)--and often those voting for them (whiny Hillary supporters, those white ladies in NH ruined everything for us, etc.)

9. African-Americans can be biased against one another. Women are OFTEN biased against women.
Women are often really vicious towards one another; many women undermine other women to gain the favor of men.

14. You're right. Even those of us who were not raised with blatant
sexism and racism by our parents certainly saw enough of it in our environment that everyone has been exposed to a certain amount. It's really hard to change your perceptions that you learned when you were young. In some, it's so ingrained that they don't even realize that their feelings are racist and sexist.
