Why I should vote for Hillary and why I Won't
I should vote for Hillary Clinton because:

I am in public health and her plan covers everyone

Her positions are very similar to Obama's

She edges out Obama in experience

She looks presidential on most days and has the aptitude to make sound decisions

She has shown perseverance through right wing conspiracies and personal family struggles

Having Bill CLinton as a pillow talk adviser can't hurt

Why I won't vote for Hillary

IRAQ and SHE CAN'T WIN THE GENERAL ELECTION !!!!!!!!!!

Handshakes and he said she said is all smoke and mirrors. Nothing else matters people.

1. "Nothing else matters" to YOU. What will you do if she's the nominee?
Vote for John McCain?

Stay home?

Or are you just referring to your primary vote?

4. The way I figure it Iraq clearly puts Obama ahead of Hillary
As far as the GE, McCain not only supported going into Iraq, he proposes we will stay for 100 years. That is why I would vote for Hillary in that God awful scenario because McCain will most assuredly win.

8. I heard a bunch of angry Republicans saying they'd stay home before they'd
vote for McCain on CSPAN today. So he might not "assuredly win" no matter who the Democratic candidate is, unless he can persuade D voters to cross over and capture most of the I voters.

12. We all need to show up and vote Democrat!!!
I love Hillary for many reasons, but I do think that O'Bama will be a better candidate. Whomever wins, I will vote for the nominee of OUR party!

Let the freepers stay home and boycott McCain and lose!

2. She CAN win the election if enough people vote for her.
So why be part of the problem? Do what you think you should and vote for her.

If enough do, she can start putting those other positive attributes of hers you mentioned to work solving our country's problems. Number One of which, is Iraq.

This way you won't feel guilty when McCain becomes President because you are an anti-Dem.

Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 01:19 PM by in_cog_ni_to
makes McCain a fantasy. He'll never win this election. Rush and Hannity HATE him. The RW Christian wackos don't like him. The illegal immigrant psychos don't like him. The pro-Bush tax cuts don't like him. He'll never win.

7. If you don't vote, people like Bush and Cheney get selected
if Obama is our candidate, I will plug my nose and vote for the guy...

because my future rights are at stake when the Supreme Court turns Conservative for the next 30 years... women might as well take off their shoes and get in the kitchen....

14. Ya just don't know who these people are anymore
Look at my profile. You can come and visit anytime. I'm happy to discuss politics face to face and not hide who I am. Yet all these strangers and anonymous bashers come into our house and defecate on our principles and candidates.

It just sucks.

15. I respect anyone who votes on electability. I disagree that she woudn't win.
Obama will be destroyed on national security and experience ("Can we really risk electing someone who served oneyear in the senate before running for president")

And he won 22% of the white vote in Florida.

19. He won 22% of the DEMOCRATIC
white vote in Florida. The only state, so far, with a closed primary.

16. If you're talking about the primaries, fine.
If you're talking about the general election, well, duh; I guess no Dem is electable if people like you stay home. Thanks for nothing.

20. Her plan "covers" people only with fucking insurance
What if we want health CARE instead? Now we get to pay taxes to get subsidies for insurance policies with the private insurers who now disallow claims every chance they get. Wpnderful. Thanks for nothing.

21. If she gets the nod I'll vote for her
But I tend to agree that if she does get it there will be a President McCain in 2008.
She is the greatest GOTV tool the right wing has.
