We Are All To Blame..........

...Yes we are all to blame. With todays suspension of Edwards run for the White House I think it is time to re-evaluate our own action in regards to this campaign season.

I remember waking up the morning after the Nov. 2006 election happy and elated that change was going to come to Washington DC and that there was hope that the Bush administration was finally going to be held accountable for their lies and deception. The first thing I did that morning even before taking a shower before heading to the airport to head home for the weekend was to log on to The DU......after looking at the post on the main discussion forum page I could not believe one thread that I saw....I believe it said "I'm Voting for Hillary....this post was on the forum even before ole Donald Rummy had been fired.....sadly before the end of the day there were post for Obama...Edwards....Kerry....Gore...ect..for president and the 2008 election was now off and running a whole 10 months earlier than the 2004 and 11 months before the 2000 cycle.

Hillary on national TV the day she made her run official even stated that Bill did not announce until Oct the year before the election and yet she was announcing 6 months earlier.

We all have said and agreed that we want campaign reform and corporate $$$ kept out of the politicians pocket...With economy in the position it is I know personally I don't have much $$$ to send even once at this point and time to a candidate this cycle...so my question is how do we maintain personal funding of our candidates?? As of yesterday the candidates have over a half a billion $$$ in their money chest.

Yes we all in some part share in the suspension of the Edwards/Dodd and Biden run...we all have have asked for the cycle to be a long one and the National Media has been very happy to oblige meanwhile they have been given a pass to not cover the criminal activity's of the current holders of the White House with nearly non stop daily election coverage.

Money not votes I believe is the major reason for todays decision.....next cycle let remember this.
