NY Post endorses Hillary Clinton.
For re-election to her senate seat.

Looks like both our candidates received this dreaded endorsement. So Clinton fans, don't laugh too much. :)

1. If they really liked her, they would've stuck with her... the NY Post Loves Obama.

6. Well they liked her enough to support her re-election.
Even gushing over her possibility of running for president. Hell, Rupert Murdoch went as far as to throw a fundraiser for her.

But let's be clear, neither Clinton or Obama will win the endorsement in the general. I'm just pointing out that they endorsed Clinton as well, and just last year.

I know it pains you to realize that the neocons love Obama, but your ignorance does not diminish that fact.

11. It doesn't pain me at all.
I'm glad Obama got this endorsement, just as I'm sure Clinton was glad she got it in 2006.

But let me guess, you weren't attacking Hillary back then when she received their nod, eh?

12. talk about your apples and oranges comparisons
Running for re-election in the Senate against a joke of an opponent.
Running for the nomination of the Democratic Party to be President against a very strong opponent.

And did you bother to read the story...even in 2006 the Post editorial board was clear that they weren't supportive of her presidential aspirations.

I'm leaning a bit towards Obama these days for reasons I explained in another post. But trying to make something out of these allegedly competing Post endorsements is just more of the same stupid crap that has made DU somewhat embarassing these days. (And fault for that is shared, imo, by some of the supporters of all of the Democratic candidates).

As for the post's endorsement of Obama, its not a surprise. And its not, for heaven's sake, part of some reverse psychology plot by rupert murdoch. Its more likely simply a reflection of the fact that Rupert doesn't call every shot for his paper's editorial board. That undoubtedly will be rejected by the everyone is under the influence of some puppeteer tin foilers, but I suspect its probably the truth.

14. My point, don't attack a candidate for receiving the endorsement.
Many Clinton supporters are spinning this as proof NOT to support Obama. That's trash. Obama didn't ask the New York Post to support him, just like Clinton didn't ask for their support in 2006. The fact both papers endorsed each candidate in different elections IS NO FAULT TO EITHER OF THEM. Which is the point of my thread, poking a bit of fun at the fact she received their endorsement too.
