Thanks for noticing, John.
I`m so grateful to John Edwards for his soulful reminders about the millions of Americans suffering from our willfull neglect. The raw realism of John`s words and the pain of his truth brought me to tears on many occasions. Bless you, John Edwards, for even noticing that Other America.

I`ve walked baskets of laundry through an intersection on my way to a laundramat. I`ve made new soles for my shoes out of cardboard. I`ve stood homeless on a sidewalk with several brothers and sisters. I`ve been hungry. I`ve been desperate. I`ve been hopeless. The beauty in all that ugliness is the lessons learned. Bless you, John Edwards, for speaking out for that Other America.

Many of us have lost all perspective. We`ll ignore veterans living under bridges, but buy yellow ribbon magnets. We`ll ignore people drowning in New Orleans but bitch because the rain canceled our football game. We know all the winners of American Idol but know nothing about the Jena Six. We sport FREEDOM ISN`T FREE bumberstickers while we allow our government to occupy another country. We can build a brazillion Trump Towers but can`t do a thing about affordable housing.

I wish we could set aside our habit of self-indulgence and embrace that old... "He ain`t heavy, he`s my brother" meme. In the meantime, thank you from the bottom of my heart, John Edwards.

4. I don't even get a vote in the primary like Florida and Michigan
They were afraid to allow the process in Florida or Michigan because Edwards might win? The polls show Dems want Kucinich and Edwards not Obama or Clinton.

Got that Cali? Your poll is rigged. How many in your DC office voted in that poll?

So far without Michigan and Florida only three states picked the two primary winners. Heck I could could guess who the media and DLC would pick.

The rest of the country didn't even have a say like Illinois, New York, California, Pennsylvania, etc. Huge voting blocks with delegates, etc. just left out period. Each election they keep us from winning. Now it is our party trying to stop Progressives in their own party.

Were Kucinich and Edwards just Red Herrings to get money for the party? One has to believe that after the crap that's gone on again before the election even starts.

I'm disappointed that the other Democratic members of Congress allowed this. After this clown show, I'm believing them Neo Con Republicans after all. What else am I to believe?

7. That is a legal term. It allows him to continue to pay his staff
until they find other jobs.

13. Campaign funds are locked -- they can only be used for specific
purposes during a campaign. It is highly regulated (as if that does any good).

By "suspending" rather than "dropping out", it allows him to continue to pay staffers until they find work.

Look -- I am still voting for the man in my APRIL (!!) primary come hell or high water. I am just saying not to read too much into this is all.

15. Are you serious?
There are a dozen people trying to explain this. The news has been explaining this to death all day. The same thing happened when Clark "suspended" and for the same legal reasons.

Just go back to your little virtual world if you don't want the information. You will be happier there, I'm sure.

Sheesh.
