The only national polls that matter are the ones after the nominee is chosen, and then only electoral college votes count.

When he addresses you as "my friend", he is really calling you a "sack of shit". Our nominee needs to be ready for that.

Wishful thinking, unfortunately; If McCain wins the nomination, I doubt the Democrats will even win ten states. It will be the revival of the "Reagan Democrats" at its scariest.

Don't take that as any kind of support for McCain. I would never vote for him. But let's get him on the issues, not his age. Progressives should be better than that.
