The only national polls that matter are the ones after the nominee is chosen, and then only electoral college votes count.

Wishful thinking, unfortunately; If McCain wins the nomination, I doubt the Democrats will even win ten states. It will be the revival of the "Reagan Democrats" at its scariest.
