neither the voters nor the party leaders in Ohio made a decision to have their votes not count. The democratic voters of Fl and Mi may not have made that decision either, but their elected representatives *did.
After being told by the DNC that they couldn't move their primary date up, they did it anyways. After being told by the DNC that they would lose delegates if they kept that date, they kept it. Both FL and Mi gambled, and lost. (If I were from Mi I'd be particularly ticked at the party because they saw what was already happening with Fl)
If you think they should get their delegates back, then you should have no problem next election cycle when Oregon moves its primary to Jan 8 ... and then Utah moves theirs to Dec 18 ... and then Ca move theirs to Dec 3 ... and then NH moves theirs to Thanksgiving ... etc. etc. etc.
Hell, why not just line up the candidates for 2012 now so we can vote on them next week?
