My fellow democrats and Obama supporters lets win in 08, Support Hillary!

The recent arrest of Obama's long term campaign contributer and CLOSE personal associate are very troubling. While you may think he can weather this storm and still win a general election I implore you to consider the facts. He basically said in the debates his ties to the slum lord were just 5 hours of work on some law matters, this is a straight out lie. The slum lord Rezco has a 17 year relationship with Obama that includes not only political contributions but personal gains and deals as well. Obama has written letters to help get this gentleman government grants and other things. These acts COMPLETELY undermine his candidate for change theme.They prove he is a no more clean then the soiled aisle of the capitol building. Rezco bought a lot adjacent to Obamas house that enabled Obama to complete the transaction, Obama did not need the land and received a 300k discount on the house. He then later bought a section of that lot from Rezco's wife. When interviewed about this Obama claimed he did not know Rezco was involved, yet later he recanted and admitted he knew and it was a bonehead mistake. This is TWO lies about Rezco deals already. His inability to be truthful about these shady deals leads me to believe he is HIDING something. Theres a great chance more will Surface in the upcoming trial, If so....How can Obama withstand the heat of being caught in a HUGE scandal after having run on being the "candidate for change". It appears the only thing changing is his story. This will be enough for Republicans to crush him in 08. Polls now showing Obama ahead of Republicans do not reflect these problems and as time goes on they will. Hillary has been investigated and slandered and STILL stands here strong and ready to beat the republicans. I do not want four more years of Republicans and with the Rezco stuff I can state without any great fear of being incorrect an Obama nomination will get you just that. It is time we come together and win this country back. The stances between candidates are not greatly different and Hillary is actually better prepared, Obama speaks well but is not issue oriented. HILLARY is our best chance and she will win in 08! With a few years and a bit f rehab time to overcome the Rezco stuff, I would be happy to support Obama providing he deals with this issue honestly. HILLARY IN 08!

He lied about even knowing Rezco was involved with the deal before "recalling" it about his house too.

Thats two lies, the only change Obama is bringing is changes in his story! Even if Obama gets through the nomination process with a win.
Republicans not fearing losing the black vote will pound him with this stuff, after the trial starts and more comes out, Obama will be unelectable and you will wish you listened! Obama is going down on this, it completely undermines his change message and Republicans will crush him with it if he manages to pull the wool of Democratic Parties eyes and get nomination!

I have a tally sheet going; one side for Clinton and one side for Obama. They each get a mark when I learn something positive about a candidate. Whoever gets to 25 first is the one I'm going with.

Stick around after the primaries. If Hillary wins, she will need all the spin you can muster to explain away the many many financial scandals of the Clintons, including the most recent on uranium mining in Kazakhstan. Not to mention Norman Hsu.

I am serious I have Obama in my favorites and was looking into him seriously.

All I saw was a great speaker who is a potential leader in a few years.
This Rezco stuff is going to be nasty and since he made a strategic mistake of basing hois whole campaign on CHANGE, it will HURT him more then anyone.

But it's the way it's said. It's going to drive people crazy who support Obama and they will counter punch with a story that's on the same level. This leads to people saying they will never vote for said candidate. This leads to supporters hating each other more than the need to defeat the repubs.

Not to mention not matter who the democratic candidate is the Repubs will find dirt and mud. Clinton and Obama both have some sort of boggie man to try and smear us with.

For that reason i think we should leave this subjects to the republicans. For now we should talk policies and record and even get into heated debate in show contrast. If both camps take the higher ground we'll be more united for the general election. Once we're in the general election, when the republican tries to thrown mud we'll rain down serious hellfire in counter attacks destroying the republican candidate making them wish they never went into politics and to never fuck with us democrats again :)

I just want to win in 08, 8 years of DUBYA have left me unwilling to risk it on an inexperienced agent for change who is starting to get tarnished already. We cannot afford a mistake here and to my thinking this Rezko stuff is just opening up. It will ruin his "change mantra" and I am not sure he can recover from it once it hits talk radio and cable news.

He did denote money to Bill Clinton and not Hillary.

There are many big named Politicians he raised money for in between Obama to Bush.

The main point is Rezko is not a top matter of Obama and will not effect him. Rezko is both fluff and mud. His name was only brought up as a counter punch to a charge made by Obama about Clinton and Wal-Mart. It was an ugly moment for both Clinton and Obama. It is not a major point and should be brought up against Obama.

Experience and contrast on records is one thing. Rezko simply is wasting time.
