5. Interesting things going on here in NM.

There has been intensive courting of local politicions by BOTH campaigns, for instance, Hector Balderas, the state auditor and a newcomer to politics, has been approached by both campaigns. News reports yesterday said that Bill Clinton would be coming here to NM Friday afternoon 2/1. Then tonight I got home to a voicemail from the Obama campaign saying that BHO would be here holding rallies Friday night. Richardson's endorsement would be huge here, and I'm sure that he, not the voters of the state, is the primary (pun intended) target on Friday.
