No condolences or sympathies from me for Edwards supporters.
Congratulations on choosing a candidate that has made it his lifes work to end poverty.

Congratulations on choosing a candidate that will retain his soul come November.

Maybe some sympathy and condolences should be forthcoming from Edwards supporters for those of us that support the final two.

2. I think the world of John Edwards!
He was my choice before Hillary. I certainly hope he remains in public life, hopefully in a prominent position within the Clinton administration.

Give it up for John Edwards! :applause:

3. I hated Edwards in 04
But he became my 2nd choice in '08. Isn't that weird?

4. Doesn't matter if you support Edwards or not
The process has been corrupted big time. You should lose sleep over that.

9. Yes, it has, and YES we should....

Does anyone feel as though they are being herded?...just like how the merchants and banks treat people who prefer to use checks...this excuse and that excuse is used to force people to use debit cards or cash OR credit cards or automatic pay...we had several candidates...good candidates...and before "super Tuesday" even gets here, all but two have been forced out, and YES I firmly believe they were forced out, by the unfair "s"election process that exists in this country....

My observation...JE made a comment about how the Democratic party will go on to make history(w/o him?)...how??...by either nominating a Black man or a woman for the first time???(let's hope that wasn't deemed more important than winning) Is that what this is all about??? Isn't it supposed to have had something to do with electing the best person to run OUR country, no matter who they may be, or what they may look like???

IMO why Edwards bowed out...is as clear as the nose on any of our faces...it's shameful...and it leaves a great number of us, feeling as though we really have nothing to say about the election process any longer....Why don't I feel like saying congratulations?...I hope the Democratic party doesn't live to regret their decision about what was really important to the future of this country...personally, I have come to the conclusion that I am thoroughly and officially disgusted with the whole process, because that process is no longer something to be proud of....wb

5. Can't we just leave them alone? They chose a great candidate
and their grief is very real right now. Give them some time to make up their own minds. What the hell do you think the rest of us need sympathy and condolences for? This is just wrong to badger Edwards' supporters. Please, just leave them alone.

6. It's not grief for their candidate but the realization that once
again the elite have stolen our votes and voice. That is a real downer is it not?

8. Thanks -- that nailed it.
John and Elizabeth are going to be fine -- there is no question.

It is the voice of the left half of the party that got snubbed out by the corps and the M$M that I am grieving for. No more ads, no more debates -- we have been cut off.

7. As an Edwards supporter, I don't see this as being badgered
In fact, you can have your candidates. He has my upcoming primary vote. The rest of you can figure out if Candidate A or Candidate B is on the slate because I could really care less how the coin toss ends up.

:hi:

10. That is exactly what I was trying to say. It is none of our GD business
what you people choose to do. That is all I meant by badgering. He was my second choice and I do really feel bad that he did not continue. Now, I have no place to go if my candidate starts spiraling downward. Best to you and all other Edwards supporters no matter what each choses to do.:loveya:
