1. Well, Obama is building a coalition and the netroots are one part of it.

Obama was always #2 behind Edwards, and with Edwards gone all but 2% went to Obama. Open Left calls this group the "creative class" and along with Independents/Republicans, African Americans, and the Youth Vote, he might be able to win the nomination.
