Everyday I hear from more Democrats that if Clinton receives the nominee, they will either not vote. Or they will vote for the Republican nominee. WTF!?!?
I am so tiered of hearing this nonsense. I don't think the people that spew out this garbage have the brain capacity to realize how damaging it is. However, the Republicans understand how damaging it could be and are praying to their god that Clinton gets the nominee.
If you are a registered Democrat and will not vote for Clinton if she gets the nominee, then get the hell out of the party. You are NOT a true democrat! So take yourself and you're destructiveness and flush them down the toilet.
If you choose not to vote, well, that is as good as a vote for the Republicans. And if you do vote for the Republicans, its just that. A vote for the Republicans. My point is that not voting actually equals a vote for the GOP.
After EVERYTHING we have been through as a nation. From two botched elections, attacks on our civil liberties, a preemptive attack on Iraq that never should have happened and possibly a war with Iran in the not to distant future. Because you can't stand Clinton so much you are really willing to allow the Republicans to do anything they want? By voting for a Republican, or not voting at all, that is what you are doing. Authorizing the Republicans to do anything they want.
Do you want to protect the following? social security important social programs woman's rights civil liberties right to privacy separation of church and state constitution environment
What about limiting presidential power? Would you like more affordable healthcare, or better yet, universal healthcare? How about a President that will appoint empathetic Supreme Court justices? The list could go on and on. From children, to seniors, to our veterans, etc.
The above is why I am a Democrat. The above is why I will honor my party and always vote for a Democrat. If you vote against a Democrat in a Presidential election because you can't stand him or her, you obviously don't value the core Democratic values very much.
