McLame is the default nominee in the weakest GOP field in a long time.

The guy is old and unhealthy, not very quick on his feet, ignorant about the economy, and has a major hard-on for the Iraq war and is also eager to start other wars in the Middle East. If he can still win after all that then we're utterly hopeless as a country.

Both can be VERY witty, too, albeit somewhat caustic.

Big difference? McCain doesn't refer to himself in the third person, and his wife has a less public profile.

Will this mean we'll be forced to see McCain's versions of "Down Boy" Pepsi, AMEX and Viagra ads a few years from now?
