I've noticed that the posts are more positive lately.
About a month ago, I was ready to leave the DU because of all the vicious postings that reminded me of hate mail. I've noticed lately that the vast majority of postings here are positive. There are some negative ones but the percentage of negative postings seems to have gone way down.

Good work, people.

1. That's because the primaries are over
Unfortunately, it's become quieter around here because of that.

2. Spring is coming, W is going home!
It is time to be positive, to focus on how wonderful it will be to have the Bush family Boot off our collective necks.

Perhaps we can restore our constitutional rights, and start to repair the damage.

I see the light at the end of the tunnel. If Bush wins/steals it again, I'll know it was a freight train, but until then, it's a by-God light.

3. I've noticed that too and response #1
says it all-Primaries over! It's still a little nasty. Some people still are having trouble ingesting that Kerry will be our nominee but yes quiet it is. I've been a Loungue Lizard lately. It's real nice in there.

4. Don't worry when Dean tries to get his people to back Kerry
it will get fugggly! I'm an unapologetic Deaniac and I'll pull the leaver for Kerry but that's it. So just hang around the next two weeks will get a little hairy.

5. That is because the administrators of this site are a lot smarter than me
Edited on Tue Mar-09-04 08:59 PM by NNN0LHI
I would not have had enough hair on my ass to remove the rules on the GD 2004 forum as was done. It was the best thing to do after I thought about it. But I still would not have had the guts to do it. Lot of frustration was let out. Some feelings were hurt. Nothing that any of us can't get over I don't think? The decision appears to be all for the best and I think is what is leading to the current comity here.

6. I've noticed and it's nice
The emphasis is shifting and spring is in the air and there's the scent of Republican flop sweat wafting on the breeze. Who could stay cranky under those circumstances.
