i think many people just see it as something fun. it's the same when people post their list of preferences for the entire administration. especially now with kerry seen as the likely nominee and not much competition things have turned away from debate between candidates to vp choices mostly now. of course there are some people who feel very strongly that certain people should be vp and make good cases for why it should be.
