Kerry to Bush " What happened to the $1 trillion dollars?"
The president can't seem to find the missing trillion dollars in the defense department that is unaccounted for. The president is just not good with money he has proved this time in and time out again. The president is "more concerned about Pentagon pork than controlling defense waste." The president bankrupted three companies and is now bankrupting the country. Just some talking points/sentiments I hope Kerry will use in his offensive plays.

WHAT HAPPENED TO $1 TRILLION?

Though Defense has long been notorious for waste, recent government reports suggest the Pentagon's money management woes have reached astronomical proportions. A study by the Defense Department's inspector general found that the Pentagon couldn't properly account for more than a trillion dollars in monies spent. A GAO report found Defense inventory systems so lax that the U.S. Army lost track of 56 airplanes, 32 tanks, and 36 Javelin missile command launch-units.

And before the Iraq war, when military leaders were scrambling to find enough chemical and biological warfare suits to protect U.S. troops, the department was caught selling these suits as surplus on the Internet "for pennies on the dollar," a GAO official said.

It was 2 trillion something before Bu$h and in 3 short years he has managed to increase it by a trillion, bad work Schrub!

5. NO this is the reaction
Bush Lie #1

back in 1995, two years after the first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, Sen. John Kerry introduced legislation to cut the intelligence budget by $1.5 billion. "Once again, Sen. Kerry is trying to have it both ways," the president said

The Truth---
The Kerrey-Specter bill proposed to cut the NRO's budget "to reflect the availability of funds … that have accumulated in the carry-forward accounts" from previous years. Another co-sponsor of the bill, Sen. Richard Bryan, D–Nev., noted that these "carry-forward accounts" amounted to "more than $1.5 billion."

This was the same $1.5 billion that John Kerry was proposing to cut—over a five-year period—in his bill. It had nothing to do with intelligence, terrorism, or anything of substance. It was a motion to rescind money that had been handed out but never spent.

In other words, it's as if Kerry had once filed for a personal tax refund—and Bush accused him of raiding the Treasury.

7. I dunno, Carol, he occasionally looks like he might have a copy,
but so far they've always turned out to be a cheap copy made in some WTO sweatshop.

DK has the real gonads.
