We are losing a loyal solid Democratic voice in the House for a republican infiltrator. Henry Cuellar goes beyon DINO categorization straight to the GOP infiltrator/turncoat realm.

1. Has someone projected this?
The San Antonio Times-News's website still says it's too close to call and it doesn't seem over yet. I really hope that Rodriguez survives.

2. Silas, I think Ciro will be OK
Edited on Wed Mar-10-04 12:47 AM by Gman
I talked to a friend over at Ciro's HQ a short while ago and, if the results they have unofficially are correct, Ciro should win. So they're cautiously optimistic.

At the TX SOS website, it looks like Bexar County is being very slow to report. Bexar shows:

Cuellar Rodriguez
BEXAR 1,091 4,675

Although the turnout was light, there are a lot more than 5700 votes cast in Bexar Co. There's 859,000 total potential Bexar voters compared to 93,000 in Webb co. Ciro only lost the early vote by 5000.

So overall, Ciro should be ok.

What's not good is that Zapata county is still reporting 0 votes counted. I don't trust them down there one bit. This is starting to smell.
