OK, Might as well vote for Nader
I don't think Kerry is going to win this nomination. Too many selfish people out there saying "If Kerry picks___________ I will just sit this one out."

I think that is stupid. Handing Bush the election because you disagree with who the VP is going to be. How on earth could Kerry pick someone that is worse than Bush/Cheney?

Protesting Kerry's pick, or the Democrats picking Kerry as the nominee by casting a vote for Bush or sitting at home, is cutting your nose off to spite your face.
I don't care much for Kerry. I like Clark and Kucinich. They are the ones I want in the White House. They are ones that stand for what I believe. But I am not saying that I will not vote for Kerry because Kucinich or Clark didn't get the nomination.

Fact is that Kerry has a long history of voting Liberal, very Liberal. Bush is going to attack him 8 days a week and twice on Sundays. He is sitting on top of Osama and is going to capture him in late September early October. If you want to win, you need someone on the ticket that is MODERATE and/or an expert on national security.

Bottom-line, all this "I am not going to vote for Kerry because he picked__________ for his VP", just tells me that Bush is gonna be in office for another 4 years. End of Story.

Kerry will pick who he is going to pick to get the moderate votes, the 17% in the middle. That most likely means a MODERATE, surprise. To you, a Duer, that is going to be someone that seems way far right, but will rank and be considered attractive to the moderate voters.

If I hear from one more person on DU they are not going to vote for Kerry is he picks: Edwards, Clark, Warner, Bayh, Clinton, Lieberman, Gore, Zell Miller, Cheney, McCain, or Your mother-in-law, I am voting for Nader and will stop campaigning for Kerry. They only way we are going to beat Bush is if all of us who want Bush out work together, if not I will return the favor and vote for the guy that best represents me, Ralph Nader. End of Story.

1. Agreed, ABB. The stakes are just too high for vanity voting.
I really don't like Kerry, but I'm voting for the Dem in November and it looks like that'll be Kerry. I don't care if he picks Zell Miller as his VP, I'm voting to beat Bush.

2. Whoa there
I suggest (with all due respect) that you cool off and take a nice warm bath. Better yet, take a day off from DU! Because threatening to vote Nader makes you no better than those you are criticizing.

ME as his running mate! Only I know the right way to beat Bush. Only I know what being a true liberal means. Only me on the ticket could beat Bush.

So, if it ain't me, it is a wasted vote.
