11. I "loved" the Diebold response

Along the lines of "Our CEO regrets his statement and pledges to maintain a lower profile in the future."

Nothing about "We've taken measures to ensure that the political bias of ANY of our employees does not effect the behavior of our product."

Basically "Aren't you ignore this glaring conflict of interest yet?"

I greatly admire Lou Dobbs. Not just another cookie cutter Bush orc. He will pay dearly for it, of course, and I suspect he knows it. Enjoy him while we have him; he will be gone - one way or the other - soon.

...did you see him. Claiming that the CEO of Diebold regrets mixing his personal politics with his business. Marching orders is more like it, I would say. I tuned in late so I didn't get the names, but the gal that was opposite this guy just kept blowing every one of his lies out, and he would jump in with another one. This company and the whole concept of electronic voting should be the subject of a congressional investigation immediately. Everywhere these machines are used questions about their reliability come up. :wtf:

16. But is it too late to stop them before November?

How can we demand paper trails be retrofitted in 8 months? The Pukes in Congress are definitely going to block any legislation. Kerry and other Dems (the DNC?) need to file a lawsuit demanding paper trails from these machines. That's the only hope I can think of.
