Mel Gibson doesn't think Bush is going to win
Edited on Mon Mar-15-04 04:39 PM by zulchzulu
OK, the story is from Drudge the Purist. Apparently, Reverand Mel tells the other Chimpy mouthpiece, Sean InSannity, that Bush won't win due to lying about WMDs and other excuses in a Faux Snooze interview.

The beauty part about this is that the other Chimpy mouthpiece, Rush Limp Pole, has been going on and on about how great the Passion of the Christ is and how more people will suddenly want to be converted and hence make it easier for the Bush theocracy to come to fruition.

Now what's Rush going to do? This is some great stuff...

On edit: It looks like a good move for Mel and getting an Oscar.

4. He made a sly reference to Bush in the Diane Sawyer interview.
He said something about wanting to get away from everybody. "If I wanted to get away, I'd set up a tent right next to the Weapons of Mass Destruction. Then nobody'd find me."

5. Looks like God told Mel something different than he told Pat Robertson.
So now who do we believe?

9. I've always loved Mel Gibson
& although I don't plan on seeing his latest movie, I never thought he was a Freeper type.

They claimed him as one of their own, praised him to the sky, & are now probably cursing him.

He made so much money off the Fundies, & now he tells them DimSon has lied! LOL!

12. I believe Gibson's company is
financing Michael Moore's Farenheit 911 movie so while I think he put out a right wing interpretation of Christ in the Bible, I think he is a liberal for the most part. Probably left-center at worst.

10. Bush wants to see Gibson's Passion
http://www.cbc.ca/arts/stories/bush20040220

WASHINGTON - U.S. President George W. Bush wants to see Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, his spokesman said on Friday.

Although it won't be released until Feb. 25, the film - which depicts the life and death of Jesus Christ - has already been attacked on the grounds that it promotes anti-Semitism.

Asked if Bush wants to see the crucifixion drama, White House press secretary Scott McClellan said, "I think he does and I think at some point he probably will."

The White House is equipped with a private theatre in which presidents can view first-run films.
