Will any prominent Republicans endorse John Kerry?
I saw a few threads to this effect about Reps voting for Kerry, but would any of them break ranks and endorse our guy?

Obviously, the most likely would be Chaffee, Snowe, and Collins.

My gut tells me no. Any thoughts?

1. Very doubtful
They had better leave the party first. Republicans are a vengeful bunch.

Perhaps Jeffords?

Their life would be a living hell if they did.

5. If they did, they would be demonized and left for dead
Sean InSannity, Rush Limp Pole, Bill O'Really, Weiner von Savage and their ilk would get their marching orders to find out about the rogue GOP evil doer and even target their wives with their devious demonization techniques. All with the willing hands of the Murdoch puppets...

6. No, but
in the voting booth I wouldn't be surprised if several of his GOP collegues voted for him over the Boy King. I obviously can't be sure but do you really think that John McCain will vote for George W. Bush a man he can barely tolerate and takes great glee in needling when he could vote for John Kerry--a good friend and fellow Vietnam Vet who he may oppose on many issues but has respect for?

7. If they did,
they will have to change to Democrat. Nobody loves a traitor, even the bad guys. As Republicans, they would never again have any say in policy, and would be defeated the next time they ran.
