I know it's a dupe - but have to comment on Howard Dean on CNN

Note: I know that this is a dupe.

I was always impressed with Howard Dean, but had supported John Kerry for president for a while. I just watched that clip with him and Candy Crowley on CNN, and it was just awesome!

He went after Bush hard, and he was defending Kerry against Bush's "weak on defense" assertions. He said that Cheney and Bush were both draft-dodgers, and that Senator Kerry had 3 purple hearts and a silver star, etc.

Howard Dean really impressed me just now with that. He is fighting for Senator Kerry and not letting the right-wing spread their BS lies. I saw Clark on Wolf Blitzer's show earlier, and he stuck up for him too!

The Democratic Party seems like it's more united than at any point in my lifetime!

1st he unites the world's terrorists against us, then he unites us against his idiocy. Were he not such a dumbshit, he'd be a genius.

I hope Dean continues to be a leader in our party for many years.

If you will remember, he was the first to come out against Bush and his policies. I remember one commentator calling what happens when he appears, as a Deanifying incident, because when he was speaking, everyone else had the courage to speak out against Bush and his policies, too.

God bless Howard Dean. He said it when no one else had the courage to do so.

I don't know where we would be without him, in fact, and I hope that he carries on in this fight.

Also, the more I learn about Kerry, I'm beginning to understand that he's a helluva fighter in his own way, too.

It's terrific that Democrats of every stripe are starting to put up a unified front!
