Kerry needs to run ads like LBJ's
LBJ's ads in his 1964 reelection bid are nothing short of amazing in terms of how they move you.

Take a look:

Of course, we are on the short end of the financial stick this time around, and Bush has the best ads money can buy. :/

1. John Edwards

Could have made the case for continuing the war on poverty much better than Kerry though.

Of course, then Bushco would be running ads about how we'd have a trial lawyer trying to sue the terrorists lol.

Edwards can still be a real asset to our party as VP though because he can make the economic case. To have Kerry and Edwards tag-teaming in ads would be awesome.

The one ad that's really impressed me this year has been moveon.org's ad about the children who have to pay off Bush's deficit. It gives something that's hard to grasp real-world meaning.

How did we ever let these radicals take over our country anyways?

Jesus.

2. Goldwater's ads are so ANGRY.
No wonder he lost in a landslide.

4. I've heard Wallace's speeches - those were bad enough.
Thinly-veiled race baiting.

5. Daisy is by far the best political ad
in the history of the medium. Its certainly the toughest and the most powerful.

"These are the stakes - to make a world in which all of God's children can live - or we must die. To either love each other, or to go into the dark."

"Vote for President Johnson on November 3."

"The stakes are too high for you to stay home"
