Clarke fallout: * approval at all time low, 46%; Kerry beats him by 3
Pollsters Rasmussen put Democratic challenger John Kerry three points ahead of Bush by 47 points to 44. That dramatically reversed a four per cent Bush lead just a week ago. The pollsters put the change down to the fallout from Clarke's claims. At the same time respected firm Zogby logged Bush's approval ratings as slipping to an all-time low of 46 per cent.

6. a hell of a lot of people here are incurable...
the ones who sit in front of their doublewide swilling warm Busweiser, wishing they had a job, and blaming Bill Clinton for the fact that they do not. These folks and the bible thumpers would vote Boosh if it were revealed that he ate young children for breakfast.

2. excellent news
thanks saywhat!

Since this is Bushes strongest area, terrorism, it is particularly helpful to score points in this area.

3. I'm feeling very good about this.
The longer * stonewalls about Rice testifying the lower his numbers will go. It really looks like they're hiding something when her going under oath is more threatening than his approval tanking.

Plus, it looks like Nader might be getting a clue, hope, hope.

4. Unfortunately, Rasmussen has them tied again at 45% as of 3/28/04...

Will be interested to see if there is any movement today, as Rasmussen is a 3-day rolling poll. However, Rasmussen report that "this week, for the first time ever, John Kerry holds a very narrow lead over George Bush in the weekly numbers. The lead, 46.1% to 45.3%, is well within the survey margin of error. Despite all the ebbs and flows of the campaign so far, the weekly track shows a voting public that has shifted little in their preferences since Kerry became the Democratic nominee."
